Just to share a little about myself…
I was born in India and immigrated to the United States of America with my family when I was 2 years old. I have moved over 20 times in my life and have had the privilege of meeting and learning from many wonderful people of all different ages and backgrounds.
For my undergraduate studies, I moved back to India, to learn more about my roots. I obtained my Medical Bachelor’s and Bachelor’s in Surgery (MBBS) in 2016 and moved back to The United States shortly after. Once I came back to America, I worked in various medical settings, such as hospitals, doctor’s offices, nursing homes, and even in clinical research. Through each of these experiences, it helped me to see the impacts that mental health can have in every single aspect of someone’s life. Adversities that I have witnessed around me and overcome myself have motivated me to take the holistic path of Counseling.
Some fun facts about me…
During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, as I am a mother of two. I also like to play my guitar and write songs when I have the time (I was in a rock band in high school). My favorite place to go would have to be the beach. I am also a fan of The Beatles.
